Support Groups
We at the Health for Life Center at Metropolitan Methodist Hospital believe that group support plays a vital role in the overall success of our individual weight loss surgery patients. A weight loss surgery support group provides opportunity for ongoing education, peer interaction, encouragement and continuing insight throughout the weight loss journey. We expect our patients (and their families when able) to participate in support groups from the outset, through periods of adjustment and beyond. In order to ensure that we address the needs of all participants, we encourage you to suggest topics for discussion that you feel are meaningful. Future meeting dates, times, places and topics will be posted regularly.
