The Methodist Health for Life Center offers a comprehensive multidisciplinary program involving a physiological, psychological, psychosocial and nutritional approach. The program is designed to target underlying causes of obesity to ensure maximum success for our patients as they embark on their weight loss journey.
Our Facility:
- Staffed by qualified nurses and support staff with expertise in caring for the surgical weight loss
patient
- Utilizes state of the art bariatric equipment to ensure the comfort and safety of our patients
- Provides a bariatric-friendly environment
Credentialed Bariatric Surgeons:
- Specially trained to provide comprehensive pre-operative, post-operative and long-term follow-up care
Nutritional Support Service:
- Registered Dietitians
- Provide comprehensive bariatric nutritional assessment and guidance
- Available for advice and instruction from the initial evaluation through long-term follow-up
Behavioral Health Services:
- Provide an initial behavioral health evaluation to determine individual appropriateness of weight
loss surgery
- Provide ongoing services from the initial evaluation through long-term follow-up as needed
Support Groups:
- Provide peer support and information
- Provide guidance and instruction before and
after surgery
Seminars:
- Presented by licensed medical professionals / bariatric staff
- Comprehensive educational presentation with Q&A session
- Offered twice a month
